Are you ready to reclaim tradition and appropriate some old-fashioned ideals to the ways of our modern world?

It is recommended that you pack only feminine attire (dresses and skirts) and avoid all polyester or synthetic materials. Wearing cotton, wool, rayon, linen and such fabrics will help make your experience more alive and present. Make-up and shaving are strongly discouraged. Come prepared to encounter something intensely beautiful and outside of the norm of the liberal message and the conservative narrative.

Upcoming Courses 2024

A three day retreat for women of any age to focus on developing one skill of their choice.

When applying, please note which of the following you’d like to learn:

knitting
hand sewing

lace tatting
machine sewing (altering, or creating a garment)
Mending
Embroidery

March 3rd - 7th

This course covers:

-Morning routine
-Basic cooking/ baking
-Cleaning
-Afternoon walks
-Planned and spontaneous hospitality

Meals and lodging included. This course is open to three students.

Tuition fee: $325

Do not let the price determine whether or not you choose to apply to the Living Room Academy. Girls are encouraged to check in with a local church to see about a possible fund designated for youth activities and ministry work, or to specify when applying that they will be needing a scholarship.
